Great communication from start to finish , fabulous refurbished beach front room, great internet connection. Room beautifully clean, well stocked fridge at commetative rates and fresh breakfast brought daily to your room was plentiful. I travelled with my elderly Mother and we had a wonderful time at Villa Cristina. The staff specially Leonilda made sure we were well taken care of. The resort is right on the beach and the surrounding areas are beautiful. We will definitely came and stay again. If you are looking for a beautiful , scenic , foot on the beach place to stay Villa Cristina ticks all the boxes.

“Spacious villa, stunning beach, exceptional service.”

Our stay at Vila Cristina was exceptional, and we highly recommend it. The villa was spacious, with a large veranda and two comfortable bedrooms that could be arranged as ‘locked double’ or twins. The kitchen included a gas hob, fridge, utensils, and both a Nespresso and filter coffee machine, although milk-free pods were tricky to find (Shell garage in Sal Rei). Air conditioning worked efficiently, though March’s breezy 25°C weather meant we rarely needed it. Both showers functioned well, and the villa was cleaned daily while we were out. WiFi was excellent throughout our stay, and downloading Google Maps for offline use proved helpful. The villa’s location was ideal. Although technically in the second row, it felt beachfront, just 50 metres from the sand. The peaceful, well-maintained complex was enhanced by attentive gardeners and helpful handymen. Leonilda from Cristina’s team was exceptional, efficiently resolving minor issues, assisting with bookings and car hire, and thoughtfully arranging a second villa for us to relax in after checkout on our final day. Her warm, proactive support was a highlight of our stay. We felt very safe throughout our visit, thanks to the complex’s patrolling security and manned entrance. Locals were consistently welcoming and helpful. Exploring the island was memorable, with highlights including the stunning Viana Desert, Hidden Beach with its mesmerising rattling stones, and the Morro Negro lighthouse, where we were rewarded with spectacular coastal views. Reencontro Restaurant in Fundo de Figueiras stood out for its simple yet delicious food, enhanced by a fantastic local chilli relish. Car hire, arranged through Cristina with Perla Hire Cars, had a few hiccups but proved invaluable for exploring. Our first 4x4 was faulty, but Michela from Perla Hire Cars swiftly arranged a replacement within 30 minutes. Michela refunded our deposit in full without issue, and booking through Cristina gave us peace of mind throughout.

“Lovely relaxing getaway”

Great setting, right in the beach. Pretty outside area for eating and relaxing. Spacious, well designed interior. Breakfast delivered to the property. Helpful manager who helped with restaurant bookings, taxis etc.

“Holidaying in Cape Verde”

The experience of holidaying at Villa Cristina was idyllic harmonised by the rolling sound of the waves. The hospitality coupled with the kindness remains second to none. Breakfast each morning was like a picnic box, a daily delight brought to your balcony one which we were able to enjoyed outside. Every effort was made to make us feel welcome. Take the opportunity to travel to Sal Rei and dine out at one or two of the fabulous restaurants offering locally sourced foods, fresh sea delights and the spiced options. Wished we had found our feet earlier in the holiday to have had time to repeat some of these experiences. Take time to speak to the hosts here they remain a great source of information to guide you on your way. Enjoy.

Waking up in the most comfortable bed to a stunning ocean front view... Excellent wi-fi (it was good enough to work the one day I had to) The delicious breakfast boxes delivered every morning... The tranquility of seeming to have paradise to ourselves, shared only with an adorable little cat! The lovely and well organised hostess Michela, who went above and beyond :) No stress!

“The highlight of our time in Boa Vista”

Everything! The room itself was big and comfortable with a beautiful view onto the Praia de Chaves - with all the flowers it's even more beautiful than in the picutres. Breakfast on our porch was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. We had lots of space to unpack and get settled and used the hot plate for a few simple meals. Staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. In short, we can't wait to come back this was a highlight of our time on Boa Vista.

The location is second to none.One of the walls of the flat was made of windows and you could see the whole beach perfectly even from bed :)

The accommodation is a villa right on the beech. Breakfast was provided each morning in a box to the villa. It was basic but was plenty for us. There is a beech bar about 15 minutes walk which serves great food, especially the BBQ, with great value lunches. The villa had all necessary facilities including outside dining table, beds and armchairs facing the beech. The beech was not in any way busy and frequently we could see no people from our patio. Not a place for night life but fantastic to relax and rest. The beech is sandy with next to no tide and the sea is warm!
