Hasedera is a small town. Many tourist mostly japanese visit the famous temple. Shopping very little available, as well as no restaurants in the evening. In the House: Installation bathroom debatable, minimum confort, waterpressure low, sometimes no hot water. House was cold with the April temperatures we had. If help is needed, owner is not round the corner. We recommend a stay in this Japanese house in the Summer Season. We did Not Like Self-Checkin.

A very traditional and spacious Japanese house. Owner was so nice and helpful. Fresh flowers decoration in the house.

“Your dream house in Hasedera”

Beautiful house right in the center of the main street of Hasedera Village. Walking distance from both Hasedera Train Station and Hasedera Temple (each about 10-15 minutes on foot). Communication with the friendly host was easy. The house has all the tools needed for cooking your own meals. From the kitchen table, you can look out to a beautiful inner courtyard Japanese garden (it can even be illuminated at night). Two very nice toilets available. Air condition heaters on both the first and second floor worked perfectly, we went in February and the house became warm and cosy.

“A peaceful haven”

This was our favorite place on our trip to Japan. We regret not spending more time there. The temple is sublime. Communication with the owner was very pleasant. An ideal place for a retreat to recharge your batteries.

I stayed here with friends, and the small garden was beautiful, the house was clean comfortable, and full equipped. It was also close to Hasedera Temple, and easy to assess Muro-temple ,Omiwa shrine,so we really enjoyed Nara.

A beautiful original Japanese house in the middle of the countryside. Well equipped and stocked, lovely little courtyard, in easy walking distance from Hasedera Temple, where we attended early morning prayer.
