Staff were friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. There were extra pillows. There was aircon. When I arrived the receptionist did not have my booking but did her best to sort something out. I believe this could have been the fault of Booking.com but not sure. Anyway, I was not turned away.

This Greet hotel, a novel concept from the Accord group, opened just this summer. Located in Saïx, 4 km out of Castres, it is a good stopover on the road to Toulouse. No need to go to downtown Castres; there is a restaurant across the street, and the hotel has its own bar/lounge, a TV room plus a small terrace. Friendly manager/receptionist. Positive for the environment: lounge and rooms are decorated in part using recycled materials. Rooms contain huge flatscreen TV, airco, good bedding and sufficient lighting. Excellent WiFi. Modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Quiet (our room was at the back of the hotel). Spacious parking area.
