Overview
Relais du Bois Saint Georges is located in Saintes, 30 km from Royan and St Georges de Didonne beaches. It is set in a 7-hectare park with over 600 rosebushes and offers an indoor swimming pool. Rooms at Saint Georges are individually decorated and feature an LCD TV. Some rooms have original wooden beams and others have a private balcony with a patio. The hotel has a contemporary gourmet restaurant and a bistro, La Table de Bois. There are also several bars where guests can relax on the terrace overlooking the pond, by the fireplace or in the piano room. In the morning, guests can enjoy homemade sweet and savoury breakfasts including bread, yogurt, muffins, jam and fruits salad. Additional facilities include Wi-Fi throughout the property and free private parking on site. The A10 is a 4-minute drive away and local activities include the Cognac vineyards.

The young staff when we checked in were fantastic, as were the staff at dinner. The evening meal we had was excellent and the atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant and every detail was attended to. The surroundings were lovely and it was a pleasure to watch the local wildlife. Breakfast was very good also. We were travelling with our dog and she was very welcome everywhere. Our bed was very comfortable and we slept well.

Great location a short drive from all the historic sites in Saintes. Lovely rooms and a great pool. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Only drawback was the price of the drinks which were very expensive

“Excellent - cannot recommend this hotel enough”
The rooms are very French authentic and each different in style. Very comfortable. The restaurant food was incredible and I would highly recommend dining here. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The property was extremely clean and well kept and the surrounding grounds with wildlife so tranquil & peaceful. 10/10 and we will be back.
