Huge kitchen and living space with everything you could possibly need. Couldn’t be better located to explore the fantastic town of Saintes. Janet and Phil were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Really felt like a home from home.

“Lovely comfortable apartment in old city.”
Very large comfortable cool apartment with 2 en-suite bedrooms, with all facilities, in beautifully restored old building, in quiet street, 100m from Roman triumphal arch on river bank. Apartment on second floor up 2 flights of stairs, but kind hosts carried our luggage on arrival and departure. Lovely hosts could not have done more to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. No air-con, but 2 very efficient fans meant it was no problem, in spite of 38 C temperature outside on some days. Small private dining area in shaded courtyard was a bonus. Frequent bus service "A" to/from railway station from nearby stops.

“A relaxing stay in a charming and well-equipped flat.”
The flat is lovely - attractively furnished and comfortable, with everything you could need, including a pretty garden. A very nice place to come back to and relax in. It’s right in the centre of Saintes with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The Charente river runs nearby, there are daily markets and interesting places to visit. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. I would certainly go back to stay again.
