“Wonderful host who delighted me with a Christmas meal”

I arrived Sainte-Rose on a Christmas evening when everything was closed. Hungry and tired after hours of driving, I asked if the host was able to provide me some simple bread as dinner with my mere few words of French. They were so friendly and concerned, and after 15 mins, they showed up in my room again with a full spread of toast with foie gras, made a few cheese tarts, fruit and shared some fizzy drinks with me - most heartwarming Christmas dinner ever! They did all they can to make sure I feel comfortable though we speak different language. They even woke up early and showed me the beautiful sunrise at their garden at 6am when I said I am a photographer and I love sunrise. The location is very convenient too if you are visiting the Lava Church nearby. The guest room (2 bedrooms, large kitchen, living room and cosy bathroom) is very spacious and homey, accompanied with a beautiful courtyard and garden.

Chantal ans Ernest are welcoming hosts. The place is really really convenient for a family that is looking for comfort and all facilities while trekking around south east coast. We slept very well there and the view above the ocean is stunning. The home was spacious, tidy and clean. The garden with the relaxing balançoire was really pleasant. This place is a gem!
