Firstly I always enjoy Franece. However, why is there very few, if any, restaurants open. This seems to be the story whenever I visit France on cycle tours? Regarding the accommodation, which was fine, you may wish to change your Booking.com photo to a picture of the actual building as it took a while to locate it. Then the actual location opposite the famous church with the parachutist would then be a great surprise!

“Great propoerty in historic location”
Brilliantly situated gite right on the square in Sainte Mere Eglise - you can even see the parachutist on the church roof from the bedroom / longe windows. Nice spacious and light upstairs dining room / kitchen, with three bedrooms on the downstairs level (along with another kitchen), was a good separation. Great to have two separate showers and two separate toilets. The washing machine was also very welcome!
