Overview
Les Vignes de la Chapelle, The Originals Relais (Relais du Silence) provides eco-friendly accommodation on the edge of a nature reserve on the Ile de Ré. This hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, heated from mid-April to mid-September depending on weather conditions. Set in a garden, it offers a terrace, a bar and a paid private parking. The whole property is a non smoking property even outdoors. Each suite is equipped with flat-screen TV, soundproofing, free WiFi internet access and a wooden terrace area. They also have a snack corner. Larger Ecolodges include a lounge area with sofa bed. Bike rental is available for guests that wish to explore the island or they can relax in the Wellness centre where a range of massage and body treatments are available. The property, which uses solar panels, heat pumps and recycles rain water, is accredited with the European Ecolabel.

“I good choice for a relaxing stay on the Island”
Hôtel Les Vignes de la Chapelle is a great location on the il Du Re tucked away in a quite and pleasant corner of the island but offering easy access to the main tourist points. The pool was an nice size with comfortable sunbeds and deck chairs and enjoyed the sun for all of the day. The spa though we didn't use it was spacious and well equipped

We really liked Ivette :) She was so kind and the rest of the stuff as well! The pool area was best and clean and the beds were super comfortable!

“A relaxing holiday in lovely setting.Friendly and helpful staff.”
We loved staying here.The location was great and the staff were lovely and helpful.The breakfast was fabulous.Really convenient cycle hire at the hotel.We all had a massage which was much appreciated too. Thanks to all and we'll hopefully return in future.

“Lovely hotel with ecological values”
Beautiful Hotel with a lot of love in the Details. Very friendly staff. Home made Yoghurt and Marmelades for breakfast. We also loved the ecological aspect in the House such as composting, biodegradable soaps etc..

“A wonderful location and extremely good service - we will definitely return.”
The hotel is in a beautiful, tranquil location. We went out of season but it would be a welcome haven when the island is busy at peak times. The staff were incredibly helpful, arranging bikes and a late checkout for us. Nothing was too much trouble.

Location was fine but a bit difficult to find, even with Sat Nav. Boutique hotel with excellent quality throughout Very polite and helpful reception and free upgrade. Lovely pool and excellent breakfast. Good price. Will try to return for longer.

We booked a duplex room for a family of 4 and it was a good size, very nice, very clean, everything you want for a family. The pool is large enough and well maintained. Overall the hotel leaves a well maintained, clean impression. It is located on the quiet side of a quiet town next to a vineyard.

Great launch pad for the island but also quick to enter and exit when on a short stay. V friendly staff, low key, simple but all you could need, all amenities, pedal bikes to hire on site and lovely and quiet. Breakfast was spot on - variety and lovely open room. €15 to park in gated area but some places outside.
