Location was great. Use of the garden was brilliant. Spotted an otter in the river whilst sitting out having diner.

“Charming escape to the country”

The location is delightful and next to a river - tranquil is the word. The owners live on the premises and were so welcoming, they even made bikes available so we could go and buy groceries. Eventhough it's not in the center of Giverny, busses run regularly. We'll be back!

“HORRIBLE!!!! Read this before booking”

In short, I advise everyone not to book here!!! When there is somerhing wrong or not working you can not reach the owners and they don’t help you. When we arrived at the location, we quickly discovered that the toilet was not working. However we could not get in contact with the owners. The first number we tried didn’t work. After a while we managed to get the number of the concierge who was away himself and could not come to fix the toilet. He told us he couldn’t reach the owners himself because they where away on vacation. He also said this wasn’t the first time this happened. After wasting a whole day of our vacation a plumber was able to come to the appartement, but he couldn’t fix the toilet because he needed the owner to agree to the costs. At least this man felt sorry for us, something the owner never did, not even when he finally called us the next day. All this while we had no option to go to the toilet! The fact that I was pregnant and that this was very uncomfortable didn’t seem to matter to the owner. Then in the evening of the second day we got the message that the owners wanted us to leave as quickly as possible. Never mind that we could not find another accomodation on such short notice or that we had already booked activities in Paris, so we could not go home. They also don’t want to give us a discount despite the facts that we stayed there for five days without a toilet and they ruined part of our vacation!!! Also the matresses are really thin and uncomfortable, the coffee machine didn’t work, you couldn’t keep out the light in the morning and the couch is tiny with bad cushions. It goes without saying that the toilet was disgusting…

Perfect location to stay after the visit to Giverny, just 10min drive. Great host and lovely time spent with his family in the relaxing garden.

The location was good.

Very charming riverside location with shared garden. In the evening we saw an otter and in the morning a swan came for apples. The hostielé are very nice people. Location 3 km from Monet's gardens. highly recommended.

What isn’t there to like about this property. The home itself is gorgeous - the backyard especially is so tranquil and peaceful. The kitchen and bed were very comfortable spaces. Despite a small language barrier, the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We rented bikes and were given numerous recommendations of good trails. We were also able to use their kayak for our leisure, which we strongly recommend and had a great time using. The hosts were also incredibly attentive and responsive to any questions we had via the booking.com chat. Thank you again for a lovely stay.

The location was absolutely fantastic, the garden is straight onto the river and it's really peaceful. We enjoyed sitting by the river feeding the swan. The kitchen was quite well equipped for such a small space There was a fan in the bedroom. The owner offered us the use of his kayak.
