Friendly staff that are very helpful. Even though we had a language barrier, we understood each other perfectly and Google translate was not far away to help us along. Their recommendations were extremely helpful especially during my short stay. They could answer all of They questions that I had about the ski resort of the area

Amazing welcoming! People really enjoying taking care of their guests… for those that do not want to be in a “typical/ boring” hotel this is the place to be… also very nice dinner.. do not expect luxe but enjoy life…

Handy, by the side of the road, just before Sainte-Foy. Excellent breakfast and great value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff.

“accommodation at a really reasonable price”
the owners were so lovely and friendly and welcoming - we decided to eat at the Auberge and would highly recommend the food - thecraclette, chicken dish and Crème brûlée were all really good - it’s a great location 20 mins drive outside Tignes so if you’re looking for fairly basic but clean accommodation at a really reasonable price would definitely recommend

I liked EVERYTHING about staying here and will definitely be back! the hosts were super friendly we got by with my broken French and their broken English and a little help from our friend Google translate! the food was fabulous, quite basic/no menu but they make a lovely reclet meal which I had two nights in a row! I was with my wee boy Findlay who is 5 turning 6 on the last day of our stay…he had chicken nuggets and home made chips plus ice cream…wine also lovely I made my way through a bottle of French sav and and Pinot noir during our stay-delicious! the place was really clean and they had a chalet dog called Lou Lou - a black lab who was super chill. the rooms were very cute, flat screen tv with only French Chanel’s - hey ho! we weren’t there to watch tv but nice to have the option for the locals! body wash and towels on the bed plus extra blankets. beautiful views of the French alps out the window. very warm and cosy. great shared bathroom exceptionally clean and plenty hot water. on our last day it was my sons 6th bday the hosts put out balloons and a candle plus a wee gift! so cute! breakfast was AMAZING and such good value. delicious croissants, fresh juice and fruit, yummy granola Mmmm mmm I’m not even a breakfast person and I scoffed as much as I could! honestly this is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. and I am from NZ and have travelled the world extensively. massive props. 11 out of 10! can’t wait to re visit!

“A good place to sleep on the way up the mountain for a family of 5.”
The location was great for us as we were headed up to Val d'isere to ski for the week but didn't have our apartment until the next day. We were able to get up to the mountain quickly the next morning to ski. The breakfast was good and the staff were very responsive and friendly. The two rooms next to each other with a bathroom was great for our family of 5.
