We have never seen the owner, although talked to him a few times over the phone. Everything looked nice and easy. After a nice stay, we were SHOCKED by booking.com saying that the owner claims we have damaged his property and will try charge us some money. The owner never contacted us saying what kind of property have we 'damaged'. Hopefully he wasn't able to charge anything. BE CAREFUL!!! MAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING ON THE FIRST DAY and DON'T GIVE A CRADIT CARD NUMBER, where one could charge anything without your consent!
