It is such a beautiful place, more beautiful than the pictures show. One morning I opened the door, the alpaca walked towards me, and of course he spit when I reached out my hand😄. Another morning, a Friese horse, he/she did let me touch his nose and then decided to ignore me no matter how I tried to get his attention. We stayed in the Gypsy wagon.

Huge room in a peaceful countryside. Excellent breakfast. Quiet place in short distance of Normandy sightseeing spots. Super-comfy bed.

Lovely conversion from old barn to gite. It has been decorated in a classic French style and looks good. The French lady host spoke good English and made us welcome.

Run by a very friendly couple, this B&B is right on the bike trail between Bayeux and Longue sur mer. Good breakfast (very fresh bread & croissants), and perfectly quite and relaxing in the evenings. Rural, though supermarkets in Saint-Vigor are about 3kms away. Highly recommended for biking day tours, bicycles can be parked & locked in a barn. A total of three scenic and pictoresque bicycle trails run by Normandie Tourisme (DDay landing shores northwest, northeast, and countryside south of Bayeux with lots of abbeys, churches and mansions) start right around the corner. Bring food for the evenings or dine in Bayeux.

Great location, a quiet rural location but within easy reach for Bayeux and the Normandy beaches. Isabelle, the host and her husband were very welcoming.

Perfect position to reach and visit Normandy beaches. The structure is about 30 min by car from all landing places. Very nice people that manages the structure; the structure is very beautiful, surrounded by nature and farm animals.

The breakfast is awsome: homemade cakes and crepes every morning! The room was very big and confortable. The owner are really kind. The hotel is sourronded by the contryside and there are a lot of farm animals nearby!

Isabel was an excellent host very friendly and welcoming. The room and site were very well presented and an extremely large and comfortable bed. 5 min drive to heart of Bayeux.
