“Welcoming hosts in beautiful surroundings”

A quirky gem near the banks of the St Lawrence, this beautiful house has been renovated to an exceptional standard. Peter and Pam were very accommodating (we were late arriving but they prepared a delicious dinner nonetheless). The house is full of objects d'art - Pam has a brilliant eye - wonderfully displayed in comfortable surroundings. We shared interesting conversations. Our room was a lovely space - wood paneled, expansive and comfortable - with our own bathroom adjacent. Breakfast was a treat. Altogether, an unexpected pleasure.

From the second we walked in we felt welcome! Our hosts went over and above to make our stay fantastic! The snacks and breakfast was delicious and the accommodation was stunning and very clean! We loved hearing stories, history and hidden places to explore from our hosts! We would highly recommend this travel experience in Quebec.

The breakfast is delicious. The room is quite beautiful and comfortable. The location is excellent and quiet. All furnitures and the decorations are amazing and impressive greatly.

I was travelling with my mother and we had a lovely overnight at this peaceful and historical bed and breakfast. We were greeted by our hosts on arrival with dessert and a glass of wine. Loved walking in the peaceful village. Breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend a visit.

The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. As well as our comfortable room, we had use of a sitting room and office space, as well as the beautiful balconies where we were treated to a welcome drink. The breakfast was substantial and delicious - in fact one of the best we’ve ever had! The house is a short walk from the river, with a beach where you can watch the sunset. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay a day or two longer!

Le Vieux Presbytère offers a very unique stay in the quaint village of St Vallier. The decor is exceptional, with a real designer touch and yet still very comfortable. The grounds and porch offer several wonderful places to sit and relax. Peter always makes a delicious breakfast that ensures his guests will not need to eat anything else for many hours!

Wonderful historic house. Comfy beds and excellent breakfast. Our host Peter gave us a suggestion for dinner at Le Quai Resto Pub in Saint Michelle that was amazing.

Everything about this place was amazing! The grounds were beautiful and the house itself was stunning with so much history! The staff was so friendly and accommodating and the food was beyond what we were expecting!

Our host Pam and Peter made us feel right at home, we had a wonderful breakfast on both mornings. The location was great and Peter shared a little of the history of the house and the village.

A very interesting building with a great history. We were able to walk a short distance to the St Lawrence river. The village is well kept and beautiful. Great food and hosts.
