The location is very good as it is near both the old town and the shopping/restaurant area, and the promenade. The parking is really useful as parking prices in St Valery are very high. The apartment is in a charming area of the town.

“A fabulous stay at Saint Valery sur Somme”

A fabulous place right next to the medieval castle, entrance to the medieval town. The apartment is extra spacious with double bedroom, big kitchen cum breakfast space, bathroom and lounge. Comes with private free allotted parking space 300m away. The apartment has all modern amenities, has a comfy bed and is sparkling clean. Owner Caroline is very helpful, accommodating and professional. She allowed us early check in and explained how things work. Few things to be aware of though: 1. Caroline speaks little English, so have your Google translation close-by 2. Very steep and narrow stairs to the apartment, so be careful of tripping or bumping your head as going up is really cramped 3. The TV is not smart, shows only handful of terrestrial french channels, no foreign/English or digital channels or on demand 4. Only cash payments, so have cash ready 5. The WiFi is really slow, so you'll have to use your mobile data for watching videos or WhatsApp calls

Location is great and free parking nearby is helpful. The place met basic needs with okay cleanness. The host was nice and responded to questions quickly. Several things were not clear, including payment done outside booking.com. More instructions in the room would have been helpful, e.g. wifi, soap/shampoo.

Free parking is a BIG deal in St Valery - and there is an EXCELLENT boulangerie right next to the entrance to the parking!

This is a super little apartment: clean, very well-equipped (a microwave AND an oven!), comfy, and in a perfect location just steps from both the Cité Médiévale and the Somme. Caroline was an ideal host, responsive and informative. And the private parking was a definite plus!

A nice apartment in a quiet location, not far from the restaurants etc in the town centre. The apartment as whole was clean, comfortable and well equipment. The bed was very comfortable. The apartment had a safe parking space which was a less than 5 minute walk away, but there was a car park directly outside the apartment which had 45mins free parking (good for loading and unloading).

Lovely quiet location. Good sized bedroom, comfy bed, facilities good although we did eat out rather than cook but everything you could wish for in the kitchen. Great shower. Private parking was very much appreciated and passing a good boulangerie on the way back was an added bonus.
