Overview
L'Albatros is located on the sea front in Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, in the south of Oléron Island. It offers rooms with garden views or spectacular views of the ocean. Each air-conditioned room at L'Albatros is equipped with a flat-screen TV and a walk-in shower in the bathroom. Some rooms overlook the sea and others over the garden. L'Albatros’ restaurant and sun terraces have direct access to the "Plage du Soleil" beach. It serves seafood specialities and traditional French cuisine. It also has a bar for guests to enjoy a drink.In the lounge, guests have access to free WiFi. Guests can relax on the beaches of Gatseau or La Cote Sauvage.Other activities in the area include fishing, hiking or cycling. A thalasso is only 5 minutes away by car and a golf course is a short drive away.

“Great hotel and location, exceptional staff and dining”
Great, modern clean hotel with good facilities. Location on beach front was convenient for town and for beaches. Very friendly staff who were exceptional. Made an effort to show rooms before settling in and gave options for upgrades. Dining experience was superb.

“Well planned stylish new hotel on the shoes of the extuary”
Great outdoor decking and seating area overlooking the estuary. Modern airy restaurant, good food and bar, comfortable room. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff. And…the door to room one didn’t make any noise, like a previous review stated some time ago - because management had fixed everything!

The location was fantastic, right on the sea. Hotel is very modern and clean, but with a nice interesting interior. Breakfast was a little expensive given it was just a cold buffet (with eggs you boiled yourself) but all the food on offer was fresh and nice.

“Sea front hotel which is worth a visit”
The location of the hotel was quiet and right on the sea front, with easy access to the town and on the other direction, along the coast. The parking was sufficient for when we went and felt secure. Breakfast was a buffet with a coffee machine. The evening meal we also had was very nice. The room was sufficient for 2 and had a good sea view. The bathroom was a reasonable size too. The decor was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke pretty good English (better than our French!)

“Relaxing clean and super comfortable”
The hotel is modern and stylish. In a beautiful location right on the water. The rooms were very clean, bright and comfortable. The staff were helpful and cheerful. The car park was well off the road and secure. The Restuarant was very good indeed, our evening meal was delicious and breakfast was nicely presented and tasty.

“A Romantic Modern Hotel”
This modern hotel set in a stunning beach side location has large comfortable bedrooms, some facing a lovely cool garden, and an excellent restaurant. The staff are super friendly and helpful and although the hotel is not in the town centre the location is delightful. We booked for three nights and stayed for four!
