Overview
A sea front hotel, Hotel Les Cleunes is located in Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, on the Île d'Oléron. It has an outdoor pool and a sunbathing terrace. “Had a lovely stay, helped by the glorious sunshine and warmth…..and for my husband, oysters.”
The property was beautifully situated. We had a room at the front which overlooked the sea and greenery. I was lovely to lie in bed and look out. We got the sun in the mornings but not in the afternoon so the room didn’t get too hot. It was spotlessly clean and incredibly quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was free water to be had from a refillable bottle.

This is a lovely hotel, the breakfast and breakfast staff were fantastic. The Spa area is just perfect, and the room was perfectly comfortable with good sized towels and a very nice bed

“Fair for the price”
Location was nice, the rooms were spacious- but for the price we paid I guess it’s fair. The view from the breakfast was very nice. The spa was rather pleasant the outdoor pool was also nice. The staff were kind and mostly helpful- my mother in law found them particularly nice.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was great. The location is wonderful. Breakfast on the terrace is probably the best in the island.

Lovely setting, beautifully clean and exceptionally well run. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (especially Sophie on reception). The spa was lovely to use too.
