“Nice idea but a little run down in need of some attention.”

Location was good especially if you have an interest in world war 2. There was a nice relaxed atmosphere. Delivery of breakfast was a nice touch but it was very expensive for what you got.

Tree house was fun, good size- open plan on different levels made the tree house feel spacious, nice quiet site, comfy beds, good value tree top climbing which was challenging. Bar and restaurant.

A great immersion in forests and nature! I really loved the environment, where kids can appreciate trees and the nearby lake. The staff were so family friendly, and really kept the atmosphere light and enjoyable. The food was superb! Thank you for cooking healthy meals for children.

The tree climbing. Children loved it and well priced. FYI. .Use your own judgment on child's ability as no health and safety is apparent. Plenty of space for children to play and games provided, which was a bonus. Double bed was comfortable and bedding clean. Children said the bunk bed was comfy. Quiet location ( on the 2nd night).

“Perfectly pleasant stopover if you're going further south from the Eurotunnel”

We only stayed one night as a stop-gap to the Eurotunnel. We could have happily stayed for longer. The property was clean, comfortable and had adequate facilities to self-cater. However, we booked dinner at the restaurant (excellent staff, good food), so did not try that option.

The pizza cooked at the bar. The rural location. The envy I felt for the large number of unoccupied proper cabins on the site.

“A real forest escape”

Great locatiom in the middle of the forest, next to a lake with the possibility of big forest hikes. We chose this location because it’s close to many sites that we wanted to see. The little wooden cabin was simple, but well, equipped, and suitable for a family. The site has a great climbing facility for kids which is great.

The setting is fab, really peaceful, we loved all the play areas for the children!

I loved the peaceful setting. My sleep was restful and blissful listening to the night birdsong. Loved the breakfast coming to your cabin in the morning.

The staff were so lovely and welcoming. Aurelien in particular was wonderful. We loved the big windows in our cabin and the separate areas for bunks and double beds was really nice. The Nordic bath was great and our eldest son really enjoyed climbing in the trees. There were lots of activities at ground level for our younger child too.
