“Exceptional stay”

I do not usually leave reviews, but this place was truly exceptional. We stayed here for one night during a mother–daughter trip for my mother’s birthday and it was definitely a highlight. The room was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The property is stunning, full of history and charm, with beautiful gardens and such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. It felt like the perfect escape into nature while still being conveniently close to Le Mans. What made the stay even more special was the host — such a lovely woman, warm and welcoming. You can really feel her care and passion behind everything, we genuinely enjoyed talking with her during our stay. We honestly cannot recommend this place enough and we will absolutely be coming back. A perfect stay from beginning to end!

“Lovely Quirky Country House.”

To be honest we were on a long drive to southern Spain and this rather quirky hotel doesn’t quite fit that kind of journey. It’s a weekend break hotel. Themed rooms and lovely breakfast.

We just stayed one night. The location and hotel grounds were amazing. So peaceful. Our host was delightful. The room was lovely with a huge bathroom. We travelled with two dogs and had direct access from our room into the grounds. We will stay again.

Good position outside le Mans. Great for a stopover. Lovely historic building, with great grounds for walking the dog.

Professional staff and understanding owners. A misunderstanding on the website was resolved without fuss. The lady we dealt with was really helpful and tried everything to accommodate.

Breakfast was extra but well worth the price. Varied cold meats, cheese, pastries, tea, coffee and juice. The room was brilliant with excellent accessibility The weather was very hot when we arrived and they provided an excellent fan to keep us cool The grounds are stunning and we wish were were there longer

The setting was very nice and quiet, the lady in charge was lovely but her english was limited. The room was clean and comfortable and a lot of thought had gone into the theme of the room although the theme was south american not french which we would have felt more appropriate. The continental breakfast was very nice and good value.
