“A lovely place to stay for a few days!”

We absolutely loved our stay here. The cottage looks small from the outside but it was very spacious, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sylvie was a fantastic host, delivering fresh goodies each morning and always easy to contact if you needed anything. Although the cottage is at the bottom of the garden, it felt very private as you're hidden by the trees and plants. It's also got a separate side entrance, so no need to walk through the main house. I got the impression from many of the reviews that people usually stay for just 1 or 2 nights, but we stayed for 3 and honestly could have stayed longer. Saint Saens is a very small town, but it has everything you need and it's very picturesque. It was a great base to use whilst exploring Normandy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

A wonderful surprise. A true delight, this charming cottage was a perfect stop for us on our way back to Calais. Immaculate and comfortable. Our hosts were so very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. My three year old granddaughter absolutely loved the quirky cottage and didn’t want to leave. We would thoroughly recommend and will definitely stay again.

“Wonderful stay in a green oasis”

Silvie gave us a very warm welcome and showed us to the property at the end of their wonderful garden. It was amazing, we felt like we were in our own little hidden garden. The converted 17th century (v cool) barn was wonderfully done, very comfortable and perfect for our stay. The kitchen was ideal (tons of tea!) and Silvie very kindly brought us our fresh breakfast from the Boulangerie in the morning. A perfect place for our first night in France and setting the standard very high. A bonus to find a wonderful playground in town just a few minutes walk away by the stream.

Such a comforatbel, quiet location on the edge of this pretty town. The owners were charming and so helpful, they kindly brought us delicious local delicacies and we had the most delicious breakfast, great coffee and. a huge tea selection. Perfect stop off.

Very peaceful location, the owners were very helpful. The house was very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the shower was very good. All in all a lovely spot.

There's nothing but utter pleasure to stay in this beautiful b&b. The hostess is super friendly, you get a house for yourselves with a patio, kitchen and two bedrooms! The village is cute with a small river path for walks/cycling. We don't want to leave this place.

The hosts Sylvie & Pascal were so lovely & welcoming. Lovely little village with on street parking. Couple of pizza shops, a restaurant, bar, bakery, grocers & butchers. Carefour within walking distance too. Cottage was amazing. Facilities great. Everything you could want including travel plugs! Loads of tea coffee. Fruit juice, milk, yogurt, water in the fridge & home made jams. with cereals in the drawer with coffee & tea & sugar. Breakfast provided fresh from the bakery. No complaints. Would go back again.

Quiet, but centrally located. Excellent facilities. Excellent hospitality by our hosts. The host brought us fresh bread in the morning!! Off street parking for our vintage car. Great stop-off point for getting Dieppe ferry following morning.

A really wonderful property. Ideally located as a stopover on return back to Calais. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well furnished and our hosts were fabulous. Thoroughly recommended and we will stay here again!
