St Paul is a very pretty village and it’s lovely to stay there rather than trekking in for the day. The apartment is right in the heart of the village and has a nice atmosphere. It is well furnished and well equipped and it’s nice to have a few essentials supplied like milk and bread and tea bags. The beds were comfortable - apart from the quilt too hot as usual - and the shower and bathroom good.

Perfect house in a perfect village. We had a wonderful time, very well furnished with a charming host. The kitchen was well equipped, loads of (lovely) towels, Netflix, Apple TV and Amazon Prime if required, decent shower and a jacuzzi bath which was nice. All we needed really, recommended! Do eat at La Colombe d'Or as well - very good experience.

Absolutely fantastic stay at L’Elegante (Maison de ville) Saint Paul de Vence. The owner, Cecile, met us in the village and showed us where to park as it is very limited in Saint Paul de Vence. From the outset Cecile was extremely friendly and helpful. Her house, what can I say? No words. Just fabulous. Cecile has thought of everything you could possibly want/need when on holiday. I thought I’d caught her out with egg cups but no, she had those too! The house is spotlessly clean, smells delightful and has an abundance of things to make your stay “home from home”. Two televisions, two hairdryers, even curling tongs, provisions in the kitchen, built in oven, microwave & dishwasher, kettle, coffee percolator, blender, 4-slice toaster, full set of crockery & saucepans enough for a family and so much more!! Lovely house right in the heart of medieval Saint Paul de Vence. Close to all the gorgeous shops and restaurants. We travelled all over the South of France from here. 1.5hrs to St. Tropez, 45 minutes to Monaco, 35 mins to Antibes, 12 mins to Vence. So many lovely towns and villages close by but you do need a car. Cecile is one of the very few people in Saint Paul de Vence that offers parking which is included in the price. Also included is cleaning of the house, bedding, towels, toilet roll, etc etc. no extras - all included. We even had a welcome pack to see us through until the morning. Thoroughly recommend and we will be back. Thank you Cecile x

“A lovely haven during wet weather. Very central in a beautiful village with some good restaurants.”

The hostess was informative and helpful. The house has a great ambience and the facilities were very comfortable. The host left us some basics like milk and butter and throughout the house we found lots of nice touches (soaps etc), she seemed to have thought of everything.

“In My Opinion this is a 6 Star Holiday Accommodation”

The house is stunning - absolutely beautiful. The region is known for artists so the house was full of beautiful pieces of art - from paintings to ornaments - even the furniture was artful. The house has a jacuzzi bath - which I used and really large comfortable, cool leather sofas - the air-conditioning was a bonus as it was very hot August. The house was so lovely I didn't want to go sightseeing - so I spent one day just lounging around the house. From Nice Airport take the free tram 2 stops and then take the number 9 bus to Vence (Rocard) then get the 655 bus (2 stops) to Saint Paul de Vence village. An alternative is walk to the main road from the airport, cross over the road and catch either the 620 (Cannes direction) or the 650 (Grasse direction) whichever comes first and get off at Square Bourdet then catch the 655 to Saint-Paul-de-Vence. BUT BE WARNED IF YOU GET AN EVENING FLIGHT YOU WILL ARRIVE TOO LATE TO GET THE 655 as the last bus leaves about 8.00 p.m. (THE 655 IS THE ONLY BUS TO THE VILLAGE). You will have to take a TAXI/UBER & taxis are very, very expensive. Most of the village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence is pedestrianised so it was dead quiet from about 8.00 p.m. I took the 655 bus towards Vence (2 euros 50) to the E.Leclerc supermarket to stock up on provisions. Lovely shopping area. There are some amazing artists selling their sculptures and paintings in the village as well as a little market area selling clothes, hats and such like, just at the entrance to the village. I bought some lovely earrings and a bracelet from a shop in the village. A 'must visit' is the Fondation Maeght - which I walked to from the village. It took about 18 minutes or so because I walked on the road where the cars drive and it takes much longer. Where people park their cars there's a cut through up a wooded hill which takes you right to the entrance and is much, much quicker. The exhibition I saw was Matisse & Bonnaird.

The house is amazing and the owner couldn't do enough for my husband and I. We even had a welcome bottle of wine. The house is in the town centre and everything you need on your doorstep. We were here for 5 days and it was stunning. Thank you for everything.

The property was great for a family and right in the village of St Paul De Vence. The host was very helpful and responsive and left food i the fridge for us. It is easy to get the bus to Vence and the bus and train to Nice.

Location was excellent: middle of village, close to all restaurants but quiet at night. Kitchen was stocked with food and there were plenty of towels on the bathrooms. Hosts made us feel welcome.

The house was stylish and well equipped. Cecile could not do enough for us.
