Overview
Set in a 17th and 18th-Century castle, Château d’Hodebert is located in the Loire Valley. It features traditional French décor, a terrace and a garden. Tours is just 30 km from the castle. All rooms offer antique furniture, views of the courtyard and free Wi-Fi access. The en suite bathroom includes a hairdryer and free standing bathtub or shower. A breakfast serving homemade and organic products is available at the castle. Guests can also sample the region’s wine at the nearby Loire Vineyard routes. Horse riding and massage treatment activities are available close to the castle. The A28 motorway is ideally located a 10-minte drive away and free private parking is possible on site.

Seldom are we surprised by that pictures don't do a place justice - this is the case. When you are there, you feel peace, but also cared for. Ivana is really attentive and responded positively to every request and proactive is making this experience wonderful. For people who are looking for a feeling of privacy and serenity.

The location and the chateau are stunning. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the hostess was extremely friendly, attentive and supportive. She would help with planning your days depending on what you want to explore and help making reservations. The breakfast was every day a feast with delicious homemade cakes and other products from their land or other local places. We loved this place and will definitely come back.

Simply one of the most wonderful places we have ever stayed in. A small, private chateau of extraordinary beauty, filled with the finest furniture and objects d'art inside, and magnificent views outside. Our room would be fit for a prince and princess. All a true feast for the eyes, and a credit to Helie and Ivana who have spent many years lovingly restoring this fine estate to its full glory. Helie and Ivana are the most charming, courteous and generous of hosts. Ivana's breakfasts, with her homemade bread and jams, plus a variety of locally grown fruits, are a particular delight. A real find to which we much hope to return.

The chateau is rich in French history and culture. The host Ivana is very welcoming. Breakfast was freshly made with variations. The room is spacious and comfortable. The forest around the chateau is tranquil and beautiful. It was a lovely getaway.

It’s hard to put into words how magical this place is - it’s truly remarkable. All the finishing touches that have gone into the overall property is of a high standard. As soon as you enter through the electric gates - you forget the outside world!

“Incredible experience”
it is impossible to put into words how fantastic this location is. it starts with the endless, beautiful driveway where, after many meters, you see the impressive chateau. absolutely everything has been decorated and maintained with so much taste and care. it was an honor for us to stay in such a beautiful chateau with so much family history. Yvana makes you feel very welcome, she provides a great breakfast with many home-made products and served in a very attractive way. she gave us good tips for sights, culture and restaurants. the rooms are also beautifully decorated, as are the spacious living rooms. there is a pool table, there is a nice big swimming pool and a huge area where you can walk. a five star hotel can't compete with this!!

“The perfect”
This was the ultimate Chateau stay - a fantastic French hostess in a home that belonged to her husband's family and is filled with family memories and items of interest. Ivana went above and beyond to ensure all her guests had a fabulous stay and enjoyed the time in her home. Breakfast was exceptional - home baked bread as well as fresh croissants and baguettes, home made yogurt, smoothies and jams as well as treats like Clafoutis with local cherries and fresh crepes. Cheese and fruit were locally sourced. We had to drag ourselves away from the table each day
