“Fantastic Stay with an Amazing Hostess”
Christel was an amazing host and truly loves what she does and where she lives! The house is beautiful, really nicely decorated, super comfy beds, nice big shower and bathroom, and the shared space was very inviting/comfortable. We rented a king suite and loved how big and spacious it was and the fireplace made it so cozy. The breakfast is fantastic, always a surprise treat and fresh backed local goods as well as treats that Christel cooks. Great location for exploring the area. I would highly recommend staying with Christel at La Cotentine Maison d'Hotes.

“A place we’d definitely want to return to if we are in Normandy again.”
Everything was perfect perfect and perfect. Christel’s place is absolutely georgous. The first floor is decorated with cozy and comfy sofas, tables, and chairs, with candles and lamps to create a homey ambience. The room is well-equipped, comfortable, and very clean. We had a garden-view room, and it is absolutely worth the price! The garden is well maintained, and view of the town is just attractive and calm. Christel’s breakfast is also the best. Her pastries, sandwiches, yogurts, and fruits are exceptionally delicious (I believe they are local and homemade too)——if you are staying at Christel’s place you wouldn’t want to miss that!

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, superb "boutique" guesthouse!”
La Cotentine is a "gem" guesthouse. Beautifully decorated throughout with a lovely garden for guests to enjoy! Fantastic breakfast, we stayed for 4 nights and each day there were different delicious home-baked treats on offer. Room was beautiful, very comfortable, spacious with ample storage space, excellent shower room. Room was also very quiet, ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing stay. House is very close to the lovely beach of Saint-Pair-Sur-Mer, and convenient for nice coastal walks. Our host was very friendly and most attentive to her guests, spoke English fluently, she took time to provide information on local places to visit, nearby restaurants, etc... she really did her utmost to make our stay special. We loved it!

“Our best stay in Normandy!”
This is a classy place to stay. The rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with all the amenities expected of a premium place. The rooms are large and airy. Breakfast is brilliant and served up in modern breakfast room. Kristel serves up real home made dishes to accompany a great assortment of best quality breakfast staples. Our best breakfast in Normandy!!

“The 7 star experience”
This was one of the best experiences we've got so far. La Cotentine is a true hidden gem. The house is beautiful, comfortable and 5 min walking from the sea. Both the rooms, and the public areas of the house have all the comfort to make you feel relaxed and at ease. The breakfast is a brunch, too many good things to say no, so don't expect to have lunch after. It's truly amazing. When it comes to tips, Christel will give you all the do's and dont's in the area. You really feel welcome and pampered here. Christel is an amazing host that will do everything to make sure you have an amazing experience (she even pre-booked us tables in restaurants due to be a high season).
