Beautiful grounds, inside rooms were fantastic, private grounds which made it feel nice and secure. Would recommend and 100% would return.

Whilst it appears to be in the centre of Vendôme, a three minute drive away, it is like a perfect private island of tranquility. We had a view over the gardens. Immaculate room and shared spaces. A very peaceful couple of nights.

Very impressed with the hotel. Beautiful building, nice room, good breakfast and excellent value. Walkable into the centre of Vendome in about 25 minutes so good choice of restaurants locally. We would definitely come again.

Set in a grand, old, classically French manor house which is gently crumbling away, this is a fascinating but slightly strange set-up, with no staff present. This is probably because there are only a few bedrooms in use in the building, which is also used as some kind of health clinic and consulting rooms. You get sent the access codes for the gate and doors on the day of your arrival and it all worked well. The rooms are modern and well equipped, with a few of the old roof timbers exposed, which creates a pleasant feeling and the silent-running air conditioning was very welcome on the hot day that were there. However, the spacious bathrooms have been knocked together rather crudely and there is evidence of some pretty amateurish woodwork, especially around the door frames. There was a good extra-large shower cubicle and nice big soft bath towels.

The property was beautiful, the decor stunning. Everywhere was spotless, the atmosphere calm and quiet. Our room was large and the bed, I believe a super king size, was firm, wonderfully comfortable, just perfect for a good nights sleep.
