“Pleasant chambre d'hote near Villereal”

Nice rooms in a renovated country house between Villereal and Montpazier. Great location to relax and visit places in the Dordogne valley and Perigiord including day trips to Bergerac, Sarlat, Domme etc. Veronique and Phillipe are very helpful and supportive hosts. The breakfast is excellent, and dinner is strongly reccommended if available.

A beautiful, confortable and welcoming chambre d'hôtes. Véronique et Philippe are fantastic hosts: friendly, helpful, efficient yet relaxed and very welcoming. We had a great breakfast and a very comfortable night sleep. The swimming pool (while we didn't use it this time) is a nice bonus. There's tea and a kettle in the room and a shared mini fridge accessible to guests which is very practical. Having the possibility to dine on site was very convenient. We had a lovely apéro and seasonal three-course meal cooked by professional chef Philippe, sitting on the terrace that overlooks the surrounding nature and with a wonderful view of the sunset -- fantastic! Thank you!

“Great homestay & beautiful room”

Beautiful room in a period house. Breakfast was great. The hosts were super helpful. Dinner not available, but they pointed us to a nearby auberge. Chateau Biron very close and Monpazier only a few km.

The owners of the apartment are charming, they took care of everything and did everything to make us feel good and comfortable, they gave us lots of suggestions for trips in the area and entertained us with a dinner like a king.

Our hosts, Philippe and Veronique, were extremely welcoming. They cooked us a lovely supper, which we enjoyed together on the terrace overlooking their beautiful garden. The swimming pool was crystal clear and warm! Would love to go back and stay in the guest house or the gite!

“A real gem in a beautiful location with amazing hosts”

Philippe and Veronique were absolutely amazing hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The room we had was comfortable, immaculately decorated and spacious. Breakfast was traditional continental and delicious. On our last night we opted to have dinner and were served a beautiful three course meal with all dishes being home made and featuring local ingredients. The cost of this and our stay were excellent value.

Lovely quiet rooms, tasty homemade breakfast and a fantastic pool. The hosts are especially welcoming too. This was our second visit and we’ll be sure to come back when they’re not fully booked!
