The breakfast was plentyful and varied as well as coping with dietary needs, just delicious. The 3 course evening meals for the two nights were exceptional.

Wonderful stay with wonderful hosts, Gaby and Werner. Comfortable bedroom, excellent breakfast with lots of choice. We had an evening dinner cooked by Gaby, which was exceptional. Lots of information provided, very helpful. Close to Ribérac and other small villages. Quiet location with a beautiful seating area and swimming pool. Kettle, water, tea, and coffee provided in rooms. Would definitely recommend it, and we will be back sometime in the near future.

“We really enjoyed our stay at Le Moulin Bertrand in the beautiful Dronne valley.”
Werner and Gaby were exceptionally welcoming and friendly hosts, offering a pretty much perfect chambres d’hôte experience. Breakfast was very generous with fresh eggs from their hens and the dinners cooked by Gaby were superb.

Isolated location but not too far from nearby villages and towns. Proprietors lovely and friendly. Good sized bed in good sized room with good sized bathroom. Small very friendly dog

We had a wonderful stay. The property was beautiful and the hosts were very friendly and attentive. The BnB is extremely thoughtful and the amenities are easy to use. Located a ten minute drive from Riberac. Breakfast and dinner was delicious and home made by the hosts. We also enjoyed some refreshing sangria and aperol spritz. The pool area has a shaded section with lounge chairs and side tables, which you can move into the sun. The pool itself is very clean and well kept, and also gets some shade from the trees later into the afternoon which I found very helpful. I would highly recommend staying with Gaby and Werner. It felt really personal and we felt very looked after.

“A very enjoyable stay.”
We were given a very warm welcome and our stay, though short, was very enjoyable. Our room was a good size with a very nice ensuite bathroom. The dinner that Gaby cooked was delicious and there was a variety of choices for breakfast. All being well we plan to return in September.

“An oasis of calm, with kind and lovely hosts; the Moulin Bertrand is a wonderful gem to find.”
Gaby and Werner were such excellent hosts; they of course accommodated for all our needs but they went above and beyond to look after me and my baby boy. First of all the room, was lovely, very comfortable bed. Then the property is done is a very tasteful way, with considered style, so it is pleasant to be in. The bath and shower were great, really hot water for a nice bath and strong water pressure for the shower. Leaving the best til last, the food was truly delicious; home made and better than most restaurants. My stay was wonderful, I am very grateful to Gaby and Werner and will be returning in the future.
