We choose it was settled in lovely surroundings, beside a lake. As we had a dog she needed to be able a walk. Love the peacocks.

The property is exceptional. The surroundings are beautiful: the lake, forest and even several pawns. The apartment is nice and tidy, with all facilities. The owner is friendly and helpful.

“Peaceful Haven”
Our hosts were very kind and welcoming. We loved the quiet and the beautiful rustic buildings, the amazing big main chateaux, the lake, the peacocks, the birdsong, the chickens. The peacefulness was just what we needed having driven over from England and first time driving in France, so we needed to gather our wits ready for another long drive to the Dordogne the following day. It was perfect for calming us down.
