Leni who runs the place is a real gem, helped me with tons of information (and speaks English and Spanish which is rare and was a big help for me). Breakfast was OK, the bed has a mosquito net, which was great and I had my own bathroom on the corridor. Kitchen with fridge and hot water and a great runner, with perfect location close to Auchan.

The host was very kind and was always reachable in the case of questions. I got many information on the city and what to do or how to get around! The walk to the island with the historical buildings is about 15-20 minutes.

Clean, great location, great host!

The owner Lani was very friendly and attentive. He speaks perfect English. He delivered a fresh baguette for breakfast each morning. When I had a concern about a socket he was on the spot with an electrician within minutes.

- LANI. He's a great host, and knows how to flatter you. - Location. It took me 15 minutes to walk to Faidherbe Bridge, but I also liked having shops nearby and it's such a friendly street. - The room was comfortable, with a nice bathroom and hot water. - For the price I paid, can't complain.

“Recommended without hesitation. ☀️”

This place is lovely; it’s clean, very secure, and comfortable. Essentially it is an apartment with locks on the bedrooms, so is a bit like a flat-share. It has a full kitchen to allow you to cook, and make tea. I was provided via WhatsApp the locations of the local large supermarket, restaurants and so forth. It’s in Balacoss, which is a short walk to the bridge across to the island, which is excellent. The best thing was Lani, the host: he is a lovely person, who was helpful, kind and always available. 😊

Lani was great, kind and helpful, he guided me, gave tips and support for my staying. The place is very well located, shared space with nice people, Lani provides self service breakfast in the morning. Definitely recommended!

A brand new and super comfortable building. Bed was comfy and WiFi was perfect. It was very clean and the host is super nice. Would come back here without a doubt!

“Nice, clean, quiet room with a great host - Just don't come for the breakfasts”

Quiet room with a comfortable bed and decent wifi that sometimes slowed down, but never totally cut out. Shared kitchen is decent. The bathroom is down the hall outside the room, but has a good shower with strong hot water. Both the room and the common areas were extremely clean. Lani was friendly, responsive, and very helpful when it came to answering my questions about transportation and sightseeing. Pretty good location on a quiet street, near a busy main avenue with lots of shops and vendors of prepared food and produce - Try the delicious lunches (Monday-Saturday starting at 1pm) a couple of blocks down Av. De Gaulle on your right side, going toward the bridge.

Great location, clean room, the proprietor was very cheery and of the utmost assistance, went above and beyond to assist me getting on the road to Dakar.

Lani makes sure you know all the good places with all the directions on Google. He has a contact everywhere be it a ride on the horse cart for the tour of the islands or you need to book transport to Dakar or elsewhere. He made sure my stay at their apartment was comfortable

Lani is very nice and always available to help. The house is good. Even is not in the island it’s good to be in a part of the city and see the St Louis life.
