Welcoming hosts. Pretty location. The 'table d'hôte' consisted of a very good dinner and wine, and the atmosphere with the hosts and other guests was very convivial.

“Hidden little gem in the heart of the Aquitaine region”
Hidden little gem in the heart of the Aquitaine region. The building has a lot of personality, rooms are ok size, decorated with quintessential and stylish French decor. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The property has a garden space in a little island across which is an absolute magical spot - pure wilderness of nature at your fingertips. Super friendly with our doggie - the property also has a wonderful garden overseeing the river.

The house has a nice garden overlooking the river. We were able to sit in it with a drink after our journey. Our hosts made us very welcome and recommended a place for an evening meal in town.

The young couple running this B and B were wonderful. The welcome was excellent and getting to chat with them over breakfast was special. They let us try conversing in French and when we got stuck the woman (sorry don't know her name) helped us with her very good English. Breakfast itself was also very good. Our short stay here was one of the highlights of our holiday.

“We had a delightful and very restful stay thank you both”
Traditional French breakfast with homemade jam and fresh raspberries from the garden. Breakfast in the garden listening to the birds was lovely. Beautiful location by The Vienne. We were very happy to be offered a vegetarian meal which was delicious and greatly appreciated. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. A visit to the riverside garden to spot a Kingfisher, damselflies and butterflies - listening to Golden Orioles in the oaks was enchanting.
