“What a great place to stay…”

I absolutely loved this place which is just 2 mins from Omaha beach. Lovely big chalet/cabin type room with secluded parking, all centred around the garden / restaurant and bar area which had a lovely big log fire on the go. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and very informative about the area and history of the location. The owner herself is an absolute diamond. It was very quiet when I stayed but regardless the food, beers and service were all first rate. Despite the somewhat poignant history of this part of France, I’d imagine this would be a fun place to stay with the kids over the summer as it has a holiday camp-esque feel to it. Would definitely recommend. Would definitely stay again.

The "hotel" is really well located for visiting Omaha beach...perfect, about 5 minutes away. However, there are no facilities whatsoever in the "town", and no choice of bars, restaurants, shops etc.

Peaceful and beautiful setting. Fantastic base for exploring the history of the Normandy region. D-Day landmarks are very near. The room was very clean, modern, nice and comfortable with the terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers an excellent food.
