Honestly, I wasn’t expecting making my own food at the site. And everyone was so nice! There was a really cute cat that visited us. The mansion was beautiful as well.

Loved our stay at the location. My child was fascinated with every corner of the house. The room was spacious and had great books available. The kitchen had the items necessary for any breakfast you were in the mood for. Our last day we made pancakes for breakfast. The host was so kind and patient with us and quick to respond.

The kitchen was very accessible. It was fully stocked, and easy to find everything. We made our own eggs! Bonus, there were donuts :) We LOVED how the property was furnished and deorated. Truly a step back in time!

A truely unique location. If you ever wondered, how people felt when sleeping in a palace - here you are. With all the furniture etc so well maintained, this place is truely impressive. Breakfast is help yourself rivalling a 5* hotel with a feel-at-home atmosphere.

“Had a great time revisiting the family of three generations back.”
The house was built by my great grandparents. It was wonderful to connect the family of 2022 and the Vineyards of 1890-1920. Very nice to see the good work that has been done on the place since I was last here five years ago. Our two kids, their spouses, and our grandson also stayed with us in the mansion and were all very pleased with the experience. We happened to be there on the night of July 4 and St Joe put on quite a fireworks show for us as well. Please keep up the good work of steadily improving and reconnecting to to the times when it was lived in by the 19th-century Benjamin Robert Vineyard family. The elaborate old fireplaces in every room are extraordinary, as are the very elaborate transoms composed of minutely detailed carvings over most of the doors.
