Located just 300 meters from the beach and opposite a golf course, Hôtel Valdys Thalasso & Spa - les Pins is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing stay in the natural surroundings of Saint-Jean-de-Monts. This is our second visit to this hotel, due to the amazing Thalasso area. A great choice of food for breakfast, and close to the beach and all amenities.

“Spa hotel on the outskirts of town. Ideal for a night. .”
We asked and were given a high quiet room. Unfortunately it was really windy so the wind whistled under the door however the cushions on the floor fixed that. The pool was great, didn’t use the rest of the spa.

“Very relaxing place to vist,”
The staff were absolutely amazing. The food in the restaurant was very good and good value for money. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool and treatments were first class with very friendly staff.

“Comfortable lacking service”
Location and the service from the staff was poor. Hardly anybody around to help. Bedroom was comfortable big bathroom. Coffee machine a plus but trying to get milk was a challenge.

The room was very comfortable. Tiny bathroom but expected for the money. Instant coffee which I’d never choose but totally fine. Left feeling relaxed.

“Beautiful, will come back”
Lovely hotel, close to the beach. Couldn’t check in till 4pm so if you’re only staying for a night it doesn’t give you much time for exploring.

“A beautiful hotel, and Thalasso, will be visiting again next autumn!”
This is a beautiful hotel, and I only rated it a 9 instead of 10 due to the lack of a heated towel rail, which when you need to dry swimwear to travel the next morning, we felt it was needed. The pool areas are perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything about it, especially the warm temperature of the salt water pool. The breakfast had plenty of choice, and was all very fresh and tasty. The staff are very friendly, and made so much effort to speak English, as we tried our best in French, and a lovely view from our very clean and large bedroom!
