A beautiful and tasteful and tranquil boutique country B&B. Very friendly owner managed. Delicious breakfast, eggs supplied from own hens, the baquette is exceptional. We already stayed there twice on our road trip from the UK to Portugal. At our first stay we arrived late, and despite this inconvenience for the owner we were met with great friendliness and helped to check into our beautiful room with conservatory looking onto the country gardens. The location is convenient, only about an hour from Bordeaux. Saint Jean D'Angely itself is a beautiful and picturesque small French country town with a good choice of restaurants. We will be back soon.

We stopped by this property whilst travelling through France in our motorhome. Our 3 dogs were welcomed at no extra charge. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, spacious and bright. It consists of a sitting room, bedroom and shower room..There was use of a kettle kindly offered to us. The breakfast was delicious with croissants, bread, jams, fruit juice, hot drink and eggs from their chickens. The local town was very pleasant with a Saturday market.

I got the suite, which was wonderful and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good.

The room was excellent, with an upper bedroom designed for kids, a upper cot room and a downstairs "parents" room with an attached sun room. The upper and lower bedrooms are connected by very steep wooden stairs, and I wouldn't like to be a parent going up and down in the dark to sort out kids! There's plenty of space and with the sun room, the ability to enjoy sunshine without getting cold, and enjoying the garden without getting wet from rain. The breakfast was French-style and good.

Family room is in fact a two bedroom flat, very clean and with a gorgeous view over the countryside. Excellent breakfast and very kind hosts. Nearby town is beautiful and has great restaurants. Several charging stations available closeby for electric vehicles (including a fast one at the local McDonald's). It's our fourth time here and we'll come back. Excellent value for money for those on a road trip.

It was such a lovely stopover on our way to Britagne. We slept great, surrounded by the silence of the local fields. Breakfast was wonderful and the hostess was very welcoming. Easy to find from the motorway.

Beautiful rooms combining traditional a French decor and contemporary bathrooms. Our ground floor suite was amazing for the price. Very welcoming host and excellent breakfast. Plenty of free parking on site. We will definitely return and recommend it highly.

Considering we arrived very late due to a mishap the hosts could not have been more kind and helpful. Beautiful building and gardens, very peaceful setting. We had a very comfortable room with it's own garden room and upstairs space for children. This is well positioned for exploring the beautiful area and would be absolutely great for a family. Great breakfast and all reasonably priced. Loved it!

It was in a good location and the hosts were great. We had a lovely room with the addition of a conservatory which was great. It was lovely and warm with nice towels and linen. We had dinner which was exceptional and a special order of eggs from their chickens for breakfast we couldn’t have asked for more.
