“Experience a typical Barbadian stay”
The location is excellent. A five minute walk, and you're on Highway 1, where you can catch the local buses to the popular areas of the island. The house is spacious and airy. You have use of the kitchen and facilities like washing machine, microwave, etc. . Nicole, the host is friendly and helpful. She took us on a walk to show us the beaches nearby and supermarket to buy groceries. She even offered to drive us to a restaurant on our first night for dinner! We met her mum too, who was lovely. We enjoyed our accommodation as we got to experience a typical Barbadian stay among the friendly local neighbours.

The host was very mannerly , professional, helpful and friendly. Nicole assisted me with everything I asked for from the beginning to the ending of my stay. The house was very cleaned,spacious and comfortable. Everything you needed was there at the house. The property is in a prime and safe friendly neighborhood between locals . Walking distance mins away from bus stop , supermarket, local restaurants , beaches and bars. Highly recommended to family and friends ! Keep up the good work and service. I will definitely come back again. 10/10 .

“Fantastic place”
Amazing stay with Nicole and her lovely mum. A great location right in the heart of the west coast, and in a charming little neighbourhood. The troop of monkeys that play in the trees in the back yard are funny to watch. The place itself was great, clean and tidy with 2 double beds. Nicole is brilliant, she hung out with us a bit, taking us to the horse races one day and driving us to various places. Absolutely can’t rate this place highly enough and can’t wait to come back

“Fantastic traditional Bajan house. Relaxing and excellent value for money”
This is such a lovely place to stay. Nicole is a fantastic host and was always ready to help with anything. The house is a very comfortable traditional Bajan home with a good kitchen, comfy beds, good shower and all you need. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe and friendly although there are a few chickens so ear plugs are a good idea if that would bother you. The location is excellent for a 10 minute walk to the beach (Bats Rock - which is a fantastic natural beach with palm trees and safe swimming), easy walking to supermarket, restaurants and bars. We stayed for a week and would happily go back. There is also ample parking and easy road access to the rest of the island. Sat Nav can be a bit tricky, but searching ‘Prospect Close, Saint James, Barbados’ on Google maps is correct. The close is off Crusher Site Road, which is well known. The what3words is ///straying.ember.turns.

“Reasonable stay with many mosquito bites”
Two bedrooms were on two sides of the property, so my friend and I were having our own comfort and privacy in our own room.

“Enjoyable stay in a traditional Bhajan style home near beautiful Batts Rock beach.”
Spacious traditional Bhajan home with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Great WiFi, large fridge/freezer, big range oven and TV with Netflix etc. Host was really nice and nearby if needed anything.

“Great accommodation”
Nicole and her mother were super aware of anything we needed at all times. The wifi works great if you need to work and the house has all the amenities you need to cook. The neighborhood is quiet and the families that live down the street from the house are super friendly.
