This is exactly the case when the experience exceeds expectations, and 10 is a fair assessment. Oscar is a very welcoming, delicate and attentive host, as well as a truly interesting conversationalist. The house is actually located in the forest, and it has a view that you can admire endlessly. The house is furnished with great taste, and has a view of the room with a beautiful garden, where you want to sit for hours. I travel a lot and often, so it is difficult to surprise me, but Oscar succeeded.

What a lovely stay we had at La Tourette. Oscar was the friendliest host with many stories and history of the area. We were invited for drinks on the beautiful veranda. The Breakfast was excellent, the room beautiful and comfortable. We loved the traditional interior. The views were beautiful over the town and house in a lovely garden setting a short walk from restaurants. Thanks Oscar and hope to visit again.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation in a truly magnificent historic building. The host is brilliant and made our stay really enjoyable. The location is great with all of the town in easy walking distance, giving access to historic buildings and plenty of locations to eat out if needed. So glad we booked to stay there and wish we had had more time to stay longer and explore the location more. Great breakfast in the morning, taken in the main downstairs room. “Beautifully situated on top of a hill”

The house is beautifully situated on a hill with unobstructed views over Saint Hubert. The room we had also has a view over the basilica. The house for our taste English/Scottish decorated, which we really loved. Breakfast was also more than adequate and it was no problem to ask for more if you wanted more. The host though was what led our stay to an excellent rating. Very friendly and welcoming man with whom you could probably chat for hours. At least we did! Thank you for everything, our stay was great!

Host Oscar was very friendly and welcoming, also loves dogs and got along great with our dog. The property is beautiful and atmospheric! Breakfast was fresh and good. Surroundings are also great, 1 minute next to the property there is a hill with a forest where you can go for a nice walk in the morning. Rooms are very warmly heated.
