“Highly recommended”
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home, located in a small and charming village along the Wine Route, perfectly situated close to all the popular and picturesque villages in the area. The house itself is stunning, with gorgeous Christmas decorations that truly immersed us in the festive holiday atmosphere. It was clear that the hosts put a lot of thought into every small detail of the design and comfort of the home. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything one could need, making it a pleasure to cook and spend time in. The thoughtful little treats and surprises we received from the hosts were an excellent extra touch and made our stay feel even more special. Even the presence of Georges Brassens CDs added a unique and authentic touch to the atmosphere Highly recommended — and we would be very happy to get the recipe for the delicious cherry jam 😊

“Perfect holiday with friends”
Everything - it was exactly what we hoped for. Plenty of space, very well equipped, in a lovely village. And Marie-Paule and Frédéric were the perfect hosts.

“Warm hospitality in the heart of Alsace”
This was our 2nd visit to Le Cep d'Or. Our hosts were lovely and made sure we were comfortable. If we needed anything they obliged straightaway. Le Cep d'Or is safe and secure and there is off road parking for guests. For us it was home from home. The village is great with walks through the vineyards and routes to other nearby villages. A small supermarket, cafe, boulangerie and epicerie plus bank mean you have access to all essentials. Selestat is not far away if you need more. Great choice of wine merchants in Saint Hippolyte with excellent wines to taste and buy including the wines produced by Frederique and Marie-Paul. There are a couple of nice restaurants with traditional Alsace dishes on offer.
