Overview
Résidence Goélia La Grande Plage is located 400 metres from the beach, in the heart of the seaside resort of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. It offers a heated outdoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub and self-catering apartments. Each apartment has an open-plan living area with a flat-screen TV. A 12 m² balcony complete with outdoor furniture features in each apartment. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave and has a large dining table. A continental breakfast is served in the morning, except on Wednesday and Sunday. Afterwards, guests can relax in the garden or the wellness centre. Free WiFi access is available at reception and there are a variety of restaurants and bars just a 15-minute walk away. The seaside town of Sables d’Olonne is a 25-minute drive from the property and Puy du Fou Theme Park is 1 hour and 15 minutes away by car. Free parking is provided on site.

The size of my apartment was good with a spacious balcony The kitchen was well equipped with all you need to self cater Whilst not useable as it is winter, the pool area looked good Location was quiet with only the roar of the sea Secure parking Energy saving measures implemented within the complex (sensor lights) There are bins to enable recycling outside the car park

“Over priced and dirty, but a good location.”
Location was good , nice to have onsite parking . Nice to have option of a swimming pool. Reception lady did give us a fan as it was very hot. Which was kind of her and we appreciated that. Having a balcony was good , as the apartment gets do hot. Balcony was handy for drying out all the beach stuff every night. Hotel on the main website page at the bottom, did say it had air-conditioning , but it didn't.

“Quiet location”
Nice pools, although the larger one was a little chilly (thought it would be heated more than it was). Good outdoor seating area (we were in a maisonette).

only 10 minutes from the seafront safe on site parking. very clean and easy to maintain. St Gilles has everything within walking distance.

“Great two weeks which felt like three”
Not as clean as expected and room not being made up prior to our arrival started us on a down note. But overall we had a great time and would return when next back in the area.

The location and the resort was fantastic. 5 min walk to the beach, short drive to the supermarket and town. Walking distance to the beach side restaurants. The pools were lovely and clean and warm. Our maisonette could have been cleaner and also not that comfortable to just lounge around as only one very small sofa for 4 people. Regardless of this we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely return despite these small issues.
