Stephan, the host was lovely. The house was relaxing and comfortable. The diner and breakfast delicious.

If you want to be isolated from everything, this is the place!!! Most of all, the owner of the chateau was really nice , well communication skilled and perfect English speaking french gentleman.

A lovely welcome from Stephane who gave us a tour of the chateau on arrival. Stephane cooked us a delicious meal on our first night (best meal of the holiday) Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was superb. Plenty of space around the chateau to walk our dog. Very dog friendly. A great swimming pool. We really enjoyed our stay and Stephane made lots of great suggestions.

The Host couldn't do more Relaxed vibe Food was excellent, but you need to know dinner is a joint affair for all of the guests on one large table. We enjoyed that experience but its not for everyone.

The chateaux is beautifully restored with a sympathetic contemporary twist all mod cons accommodated including a/c. The pool is lovely and surrounds so peaceful. Stefan was an excellent host and an amazing chef. Food quite something.

The Chateau and the grounds are simply magical and breathtaking with sweeping lawns of wild grass and flowers and ancient elegant trees.the sound of birdsong is everywhere. You feel you are in a very special place indeed. What makes the whole experience perfect is your kind and sympathetic host Stephane; it was a privilege to spend time in Stephane's home......he is a superb host and chef.....breakfast in simply wonderful and you should book your evening meal at the Chateau which is prepared by Stephane: each meal is exceptional! We will be back !

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the stunning château La thuilière, and it was an unforgettable experience, especially since it was our honeymoon. The chateau, run by the wonderful Stephen, is set on beautiful grounds, offering a serene and romantic atmosphere. Stephen went above and beyond as a host, ensuring every detail was perfect. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast, and in the evening, Stephen prepared a fantastic three-course meal. He also provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants, one of which we visited and thoroughly enjoyed. We spent most days relaxing by the pool, reading books, and unwinding in the garden. In addition, Stephen organised on-site massages, adding to the relaxation and luxury of our stay. Our stay at the chateau was a highlight of our honeymoon, and we are incredibly happy with the entire experience. It's a truly memorable place, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking a romantic and relaxing getaway.

Stephane was the perfect host and on arrival took time to explain the history of this beautiful Chateau to us. The parkland area the Chateau is just stunning and it is like turning up in a piece of paradise. The room was of a really good size and plenty big enough to accommodate us and our dog - airconditioned which was a bonus in the heat. In the evening a delicious three course dinner was served outside and the duck was perfectly cooked. If you are after a mini break in the french countryside then look no further - we will certainly be back!
