Very characterful old building and beautifully decorated, large bedrooms. Lovely, peaceful bucolic setting with tree filled grounds and great pool. Fanny, the host, could not have been more friendly and helpful. She will advise - or book for you - a local restaurant. Breakfast was great.

Everything! Delightful hostess and husband made us feel completely at home. Breakfast in the chateau dining room was wonderful! Our room was a jewel, bathroom totally modern, everything worked. We would love to return.

What a lovely place to stay. The setting is quiet, tranquil and surrounded by open countryside. The owner/hostess, Fanny, made us very welcome and showed us to a beautiful en-suite room with a four-poster bed. An evening meal was taken in the dining room complete with a long table, the type seen in films. The meal offered was vegetarian and although neither of us is vegetarian, I have to say that it was one of the best meals we have ever eaten. After a good nights sleep, we thoroughly enjoyed an excellent breakfast. Looking forward to staying here again.

Magical place, everything was beautiful and we had such a relaxing stay. Adored the attention to details such as little extras in the room to the super soft scented towels Fanny went out of her way to make our stay perfect. We will definitely come back!

Excellent stay in the most beautiful venue in the region. From the booking onwards, the host was very friendly and helpful with arrival information and offering dining options. The location was beyond beautiful; an elegant chateau in green gardens, very nicely decorated. The rooms were spacious and equipped with all amenities. Very quiet rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts very very friendly and accommodating requests for activities etc. Great great stay!

“Guilty pleasure and worth it!”

This was our 'guilty pleasure' stay on our Camino and we loved it. The host, Fanny, is great, she even prepared food for us, because we didn't have other dinner options. The castle is secluded, so it was amazing to sleep with the sound of birds and rain. A very special stay!

“Very good of stay in a local chateau still house”

A bit out of the way, but well worth the detour. We had both and evening meal (Michelin star standard!) and continental breakfast, as good as any I've had anywhere. The hostess was superb and couldn't be more helpful. All food where possible was locally sourced.

The whole experience was delightful, from the charming hostess to the small touches such as the home made jam for breakfast. The château is located in a quiet almost remote location but is within driving range from towns.

“Feeling royal”

I had a very good time at the chateau. It was in the middle of our bike trip and we had a great rest. The swimming pool is amazing and relaxing. Fanny is one of the friendliest hosts I have ever had at any hotel and the facilities are great. We had a dinner prepared by her brother in law who is a chef, which was amazing. I felt like royal staying at the castle. Thanks for the hospitality! The breakfast was really great as well.

I had an absolutely wonderful time, everything was perfect and exceeded expectations. I will certainly come again!

We liked everything about the house and our accommodation. Fanny has been very friendly and accommodating. The house is gorgeous and our room was very comfy and quiet.
