“Wonderful hosts but a little aged rooms”
Very friendly hosts but the rooms are really aged. The dinner was home made and wonderful! Breakfast was very good and the room service was very professional!

We love the Chateau .. it’s our 5th trip are always made very welcome by Sylvie and Jean Jacques every time .. the rooms are excellent breakfast delicious.. evening meal always excellent .. the wine is lovely.. we always buy wine and cognac to take back to the UK.. will be back next year.

The location and setting are beautiful, in the middle of trees and vineyards. The food was excellent and the evening 3 course meal is a bargain at €40.

“It was a great experience to stay in a French owned and run Chateau.”
Breakfast was good , the cellar location was also good The dining room was authentic period and delightful, the food was good, the mussels gratin particularly good, we enjoyed drinks from the locality. The lady owner was vert knowledgeable of local history and gave us good advice on places to visit.

This was our 4th visit to Chateau des Salles over a number of years. Sylvie & Jean Jacques are amazing hosts, my wife and I felt very relaxed in their company. The food, wine and atmosphere make this a very special place. The most comfortable nights sleep we had in the 2 weeks we spent in France.

The owners cannot do enough for you - from laying on a delicious breakfast and preparing amazing food every evening for the hotel guests. They are on hand for whatever you need and give great recommendations of what to do locally too.

A beautiful chateau in this lovely rural part of France. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. Our room was very big and light with a lovely view across the vineyards, our bathroom had a big bath and the bed was large and very comfortable.
