Loved the location in an interesting village. Short stroll into town with variety of eateries. It’s definitely quirky and unique, and I loved it. The owner clearly works hard to manage everything and she should be commended as such. Fabulous breakfast.

The breakfast table balance savoury and sweet and presented regional specialities. in the Best B & B breakfast competition if there was one. The comfortable but grand atmosphere set by the old building. I had no time to wander the garden but from the upstairs passage window it looked amazing. The mattress provided a solid sleep.

Lovely garden and pool and secluded room. A real getaway. Our hostess made us feel at home and was very welcoming.

“Super friendly, beautiful place to stay”

I loved the houseparty feel of the stay. Meeting the other guests, eating breakfast around a multilingual conversation, the hosts were wonderfully warm and kind. The house itself is old and beautifully furnished, but also comfortable and cosy (late September and the weather was feeling autumnal) The proximity to Guedelon was the initial draw, and it was indeed a very short drive, through very pretty countryside. The town is a visual jewel, that I hadn't expected to find myself in.
