“Small modern studio behind ancient door”

This is a very small, modern studio, in a very old building with a door seemingly straight from the Middle Ages. The bed was very comfortable, and the place was quiet. I appreciated the towels and bedding provided (free of charge, even though the listing says there's an additional charge). I would have loved some shampoo, though.

The apartment was comfortable and welcoming, with all that I needed, including a well-equipped kitchenette, fine bathroom and great bed. Of note in these increasingly hot summers — the apartment is in an old building with very thick walls facing a narrow shady street, so it tends to stay cool and refreshing. It is centrally located in a beautiful, real, living village where I spent three lovely days. Most of all, the hosts were exceptional - kind, gracious and they generously helped me out when I was in a tough situation of my own making. I cannot speak highly enough of them.

“Superb”

The apartment suited my needs perfectly. I needed a place close to the Col de Bonnette and Col de Lombarde so I could cycle these cols and other routes in the area. The village of Saint-Étienne-de-Tinée is very pretty and the people are friendly. The apartment is within walking distance of the main square where there are small shops, restaurant and bars and a very good bakery. I would highly recommend this property. Perfect for a stay in the Alps whether cycling or hiking.

The studio has everything you need for a self-catered stay, well equipped kitchen, hot shower and comfortable bed. The door to the street looks ancient (!) but the studio is modern!

This place has a nice LITTLE kitchen with a set of stores about 100-200m away. It has every convenience. The door on the outside has to be pushed in, go up one flight of stairs, and find the lock box. A great LITTLE place!
