A truly special place. The building is fabulous, the rooms are large, airy and comfortable with amazing views of the grounds and the vineyards beyond. The staff could not do enough for us (even offering to send a member of staff to rescue us in their own car from the rural train station that we mistakenly thought we would be able to get a cab from). The food is exceptional.

Fantastic hotel and amazing service. They made us feel really at home and the grounds were beautiful. On the first night we were late arriving and they made up a nice dinner and some lovely wine to have in our room. This showed us the high level of service from the start. Very impressed

Breakfast - Fabulous local produce freshly cooked. Fresh juices prepared upon request and a large choice of food available. Afternoon Tea and Dinner were exceptional. Nothing too much trouble to ensure we had a wonderful time.

La Maison d'Estournel is a small 14 bedroom Chateau which feels very special and intimate. Everything happens in one space the reception/bar are centrepiece in the dining room. The feeling is warm and welcoming with the most charming and helpful staff. The food was spectacular and the breakfast one of the best with healthy nuts, seeds, and everything else one could want! I would love to go back and spend longer as we only had one night. Dinner was exceptional with the most delicious wine. Pool area also great.

Unfortunately the concierge/host has stolen a personal package that was addressed to us. The hotel management declined to assist after many emails and calls which makes them compliant. The package included a very expensive item, which the concierge would’ve been aware of, having chatted with us throughout our week long stay. and was aware of our items and what we were doing next. When we called about the item he personally said “packages get lost often”. DHL has the delivery as signed by the hotel staff/concierge yet they deny it. The issue is still open. I would avoid staying at such a place where you can’t trust the staff.

Excellent small hotel with fabulous food and wine. Service is impeccable. Views are beautiful and calming as is the garden.

Exceptionally well located. Surrounded by the vineyards, Cos d'Estournel. One can be astonished with the small details and surprises around the hotel. We had our dinner at hotel restaurant, it was superb.
