Denis was a wonderful host. He was quick to respond, he could communicate in English, and was very kind to arrange details such as late checkout and a cab to the airport. The kitchen was great - it had every kind of cooking equipment you would need (except perhaps scissors and a bottle opener?), plus seasoning, salt, sugar, etc. It is within walking distance to the main campus of the University of Reunion. The location is Asian-friendly: there was an Asian grocery store nearby with a wide range of products including Japanese, Korean, Thai, Indian, etc. (Asia Store Moufia, 2 bis Rue du Bearn). I loved the ocean view from the window, and having a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise. The room was very quiet at night. It would be my first choice if I had a chance to come back to Saint-Denis.
