Overview
The residence is ideally situated in a nice park, only 300 metres away from the beach. Les Hameaux is just 10 minutes by bike from Saint Denis d’Olerons. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Les Hameaux des Marines is nestled in a quiet site, located in the heart of a preserved environment. The Village is composed of comfortable and well equipped wooden cottages, to spend enjoyable holidays. To exert you the covered and heated swimming pool is available according to the season. Les Hameaux is the perfect base to discover Oléron island and the nearby Ré and Aix islands.

“Lovely, quiet site”
It is a really quiet site and nestled perfectly within the trees which made for a relaxing holiday. Loved the location being a short distance from the beach. There was easy access to local towns and there was a free bus service outside the camp. Staff were really friendly and did their best to keep the site in good condition. Chalet was as expected, a little dated and basic with it's comforts but given the price point we were not expecting luxury. A huge positive was that there is good distance between chalets meaning you do not feel like you are cramped next to other guests.

Spacious cabin in a large shady plot with space to park the car and the bikes. Quiet site close to the beach and cycle paths. The cabins are quite old...the are spacious for 2 people and there are lots of plug sockets and good lighting. Lots of crockery cutlery and comfortable outdoor furniture

Great location nice and close to the beach and easy to get onto the cycle network. Some great sunsets just a short evening stroll from the accommodation.

“Lovely stay in great location.”
We spend a great 7 nights here. The chalets are spacious with 2 bedrooms and plenty of space around each one. Big terrace for dining outdoors. Kitchen was fully equipped. It has a dishwasher but no oven only a stoverop, big fridge with freezer and microwave.. Good location near cycle route and beach. Helpful staff. Need to bring washing up liquid, sponge tea towels etc. Also a charge for bed sheets & towels but we brought our own. Overall a lovely stay.and would come again.

“Ideal site for cyclists and lovers of quiet beaches”
We got the requested same cabin as two years ago, so well done management! We love the site's position on the northern cycling routes, and near a super beach for watching the sun go down.

Cabins were in a lovely location in pretty woodland just a short walk from a large beautiful beach. There was a few nice market/port towns within 20-25 mins drive.

“Overall lovely place. Would recommend out of major holidays if you want tranquility”
Location was superb - 5 minute walk to beach. Chalets built with lots of trees, bushes around them so lots of shade, birds and privacy. That said, very few visitors on site. Close to st dénis with lovely restaurants at le port. Only had one night but very good value for money, shame we couldn’t stay longer
