“Welcoming, quiet and comfortable”
The location was excellent. Lovely and quiet. À nice view of the garden and swimming pool. Bed was really comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and the breakfast choice was good. We used the car park opposite the hotel as we didn’t think our car with roof box would fit into their private parking. Absolutely no issues with parking - but please note on Market days you cannot park there.

The hotel is in a charming village with boulangerie, restaurant and creperie also a small market and a pretty garden with pool .Easy cycling to the other villages nearby .

“A peaceful getaway”
Staying in Chabot in the Chat Botte was like something out of a romantic novel. In late September the village was very quiet. A couple of buildings around the main church- a little boulangerie, a supermarket, and three restaurants when we were there. Only La Table d'Anais was open throughout the day - so no surprise we ate here a few times. The breakfast at the hotel was perfect, with indoor and outdoor seating available. The pool was lovely and we swam in late September. We also ate in La Villa twice (from 7pm) and A L'Ouest (great steak). Bikes available to hire from the hotel (although NB takes quite awhile to cycle to Saint Martin de Re from here!) but in one day we cycled to Arse en Re (nice market in the morning), Loix, (had coffee here) and Saint Martin de Re (lunch here) and cycled back through Courde Sur Mer. Easy walk to Phare des Baleines in 30 mins. All in all I would say if you are looking for a peaceful get away this is a great choice.

Welcoming, helpful staff. Liked the quite quirky layout of rooms in the hotel within a quiet and traditional village setting. Hiring bikes and helmets from hotel was straightforward. An enjoyable way of seeing the area which is very pro bicycles.

“A quite place to stay”
We chose this hotel because it had free safe parking for both car and our bikes, and because it was in a quieter part of the ile. We had an excellent fan in our room as there was no air conditioning built in. Bathroom was well equipped and a good size. Separate loo was helpful. Bed was comfortable and large. The garden was large and peaceful.

Lovely small boutique hotel, nicely decorated room with comfortable bed and quality toiletries. Lovely staff, excellent breakfast served up to 10.30 am. Lovely pool area with natural pool. Very good value.

Lovely setting, well kept garden, they were very accommodating to us with a baby (giving us a room that was easy to get to with a pram), and providing a good cot. Loved the fresh orange juice machine at breakfast.
