“Fantastic!”
ACCOMMODATION: Set at the beginning of a walk into the medieval village, the gite studio was modern, tastefully decorated and with most essentials provided. Excellent shower. Plenty of plugs. LAPOPIE: Magical! The steep walk through the village was barely noticeable as we just couldn't believe what we were seeing. I described it as like a scene from Disney but real! Medieval buildings housing quaint little shops, bars and restaurants. The narrow roads in-between were stone paved and very clean. Views from a ruin site were breathtaking, overlooking the rooftops, valley and river Lot. The riverside itself has a man-made small beach, part of a campsite, free parking. Safe bathing, recommend wearing swim shoes as river bed floor stoney. There is a small bar, pizzeria and music. Grassy area to sit and enjoy.
