Hôtel Plein Sud is located in Saint Chaffrey, just 150 metres from Serre Chevalier ski resort and 200 metres from the ski slopes. “Good, reasonably priced. Did the job required.”
Breakfast was good. Cereal and boiled egg. Had pretty much the same everyday. Did run out of croissants quite quickly. Location was reasonable, but walking up hill from town, with skis was more challenging at the end of the day.

Overall an excellent place to stay. Breakfast was very good and the hotel is very well situated. The team are attentive and well connected in the resort, recommending and booking restaurants and sorting out lift passes and more.

“A perfectly hosted home from home for your ski or summer holiday”
The hotel is back under its original management and is all the better for it. The manageress is superb, helping with all our local arrangements both before we arrived and during our stay. The barman is a real character too, meeting our every liquid need and was great company without being overly intrusive. The venue is well situated for both skiing and for the heart of the village. Rooms are clean and comfortable and we slept very well indeed. For a 3* hotel this is perfect.

“I would return with pleasure.”
Amiable and thinking ahead staff and owners. Closeness to start of the Col Granon. Locker room for bicycles. The clever design of the hotel towards the road - the trees almost completely shield the noise. The presence of a shopping center right next to the hotel. Very easy to reach and find since located on the main road between Briancon and Col Lauteret. Very good food at the restaurant.
