Overview
The Château des Lumières located in the Baie de Somme 12km from Saint-Valery-sur-Somme is a charming house with 5 carefully decorated guest rooms, which benefits from a large wooded park of 11,000 m², close to Mers-les-Bains and Le Tréport famous for its cliffs and colorful houses, also the famous beach huts of Cayeux-sur-Mer. The guest rooms are located on the first floor of our house, each has a Queen Size bed, neat decoration, towels, and bathrobe, courtesy tray, bed made on arrival for the number of people indicated in the reservation, a television, a Wifi connection. (the price is for 2 people sharing the same bed, for separate beds a supplement will be requested). The price of the rooms includes a continental breakfast it will be served to you every day between 8:30 and 9:30 if you stay in our rooms (at an additional cost in the gite and delivered directly) It will be possible for you by prior reservation, to have dinner at the table d'hôtes on certain evenings but also the possibility of reserving your seafood platters. In winter from 15/09 to 15/05 we suggest you reserve our Kota Grill Finnish moment out of time and very friendly. We also have a Jacuzzi and Sauna wellness area, bookable only by telephone with the Château privatization of 1 hour for 2 people at the price of 44€, we also have the possibility of offering you solo or duo massages, at the price 40€ per person for 30 minutes or 70€ per person for 1 hour of massage only by telephone reservation with the Château. Children are accepted in guest rooms from the age of 6, for a lower age, we have the possibility of offering you our lodgings, do not hesitate to contact us. The car park is closed and private. Animals are not accepted in guest rooms only in our gîtes (Le Bus, le Pigeonnier, la Petite Bergerie and la Grande Bergerie).

Lovely quiet location overlooking countryside. Not far from the main motorway south so an excellent stopping-off spot if required, with ample secure parking. Large garden to enjoy in sun or shade. Very good supper. Very good breakfasts. Delightful hosts. Bedroom furnishings were lovely and the size of bedroom and bathroom gave ample circulation space.

The location is very nice. We had a very good breakfast with fresh and local products. Important for us was ' very friendly hosts'. Besides that, we could also take a walk in the lovely garden, We had also a lovely room, comfortable bed, good shower, coffee machine. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Our hosts were super enthousiastic. They took over in October the chateau and did plenty of renovations. They did everything to make our stay great. We enjoyed also the relaxing massage proposed by our hosts. Done by Nathalie from "Le Toucher de Nath" which we recommend highly too
