Room nicely appointed and a decent size for a budget hotel. Good to have a mini fridge in the room. Very good to have free secure on site parking. Nice short stay allowed us a couple of days to explore parts of the region within an hours drive.

The location was good relative to being close to the port for a late ferry from Newhaven. The breakfast was adequate and filled the gap before a 6 hour journey.

“Fine as 1 night stopover”
Fine as a 1 night stopover for ferry. Receptionist was pleasant on arrival . Bed linen was clean and we slept well after a hot shower but feel it’s not value for money, given how basic the room is. It was helpful to be able to park car and walk on outside corridor to car.

“First time and last time with B and B !”
Check in system difficult to use and did not give room door code. After 30 mins I had to use intercom to call customer services. There were other people who also had problems with booking system who had to call customer services!

The motel style accommodation was clean and cheap. We had read reviews and brought a travel kettle with us. The breakfast was good and the staff were extremely friendly. We knew where it was situated so no surprises and there are restaurants in walking distance.

“Recommended for rooms of three or four”
Recommend for group of 3 or 4 sharing a a room. Bunk beds are actually a split level so almost another room. Felt like luxury after a previous night in an Ibis Budget.
