Absolutely loved the relaxed & idylic little seaside town. Very out of the way, but we had an amazing day exploring Ikeshima's ruins, being treated wonderfully by all the friendly locals, not to mention the fantastic onsen in the hotel. Only problem is we weren't there for longer. We can't speak much Japanese, and the locals couldn't speak much English, but everybody was extremely accommodating & patient with communication. If you like getting off the beaten track & experiencing some real local life & peace & quiet then Jisco hotel is amazing.

“6 x middle aged cyclists on a tour with our bikes - no problems here at all!”
What a lovely little coastal town, the hotel was perfectly. Next to 2 convenience stores and near a supermarket too. Staff were great and the rooms slightly bigger than your usual hotel. Washing facilities were perfect.
